Hotel Villa Fontaine

We will first introduce to you a hotel that is recommended for people who wish to enjoy all the splendor of Roppongi at a reasonable price. Hidden away in a corner of the Izumi Garden, the Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo-Roppongi sits a few minutes away from Roppongi-itchome station.

The hotel’s opulent, high-ceiling lobby boasts a luxurious marble front desk, tall, slim tables and chairs, as well as white-and-black geometric flooring. The large windows overlook the Izumi Garden. There is also an elevator hall with beautiful red plush sofas and a space with a vending machine, coin laundry, ice maker, and microwave. The upper floors are devoted to the guest rooms. There are a variety of guest rooms, with the twin room offering a semi-double size bed. The brown-themed room with its furniture and bedding create a relaxing atmosphere. All rooms have a TV, fridge, humidifier, ironing items, and free LAN Internet. What’s more, within the deep recesses of the room, you will find a massage chair. From 7:00 to 9:30 AM, there is free breakfast in the first-floor lobby. 2. Hotel and Residence Roppongi (from USD 96)

Even within the business area of Roppongi, you can find a calm and relaxing place such as the luxurious Hotel and Residence Roppongi. The place is surprisingly quiet for an area that is situated in one of the most exciting corners of Roppongi. Billing itself as a secret hideaway for grown-ups, this boutique hotel offers spacious, Zen-influenced suites and is well positioned near the Tokyo Metro train station and Azabu crossing.

A supreme blend of stylishness and ambience, the Hotel and Residence Roppongi is a building that was completely renovated and opened in 2012 under the work of a design team headed by two spirited architects who won the Good Design Award for their skilled efforts.

The function of the hotel is split largely into three categories: the “Roppongi Hotel S,” which serves as the actual hotel; “COCONOMA Season Dining,” which provides meals and drinks; and rental housing of residences and service apartments. Of these three, we would like to introduce to you the details of “Roppongi Hotel S,” which is based on the concept of “metropolitan hideout for adults who wish to learn fun.” Scrupulous attention to hospitality and details is paid of the 47 guestrooms that create the small hotel.

Every guestroom is different from the general hotel. For example, every room features traditional Japanese elements such as “Zen,” “Rin,” “Sazanami” (ripple), “Kuuchuu-teien” (aerial garden), and “Nakaniwa” (courtyard). The hotel is truly a place for meditation in the middle of the city.

Out of the many restaurants that surround the hotel, surely there is no finer choice than the one that stands in front of the hotel’s lobby. COCONOMA Season Dining, based on the concept of dining with wine and chopsticks, is a hotel dining area that has gaining widespread attention equivalent to the repute the hotel has itself gained. The menu is replete with playful combinations of Kyoto-style and Italian dishes, with exotic wine and Japanese twists applied to Western dishes.

The hotel also does apartment rentals, complete with furniture, that allow for temporary luxury or the apartment-office life. You can register it as part of a company office and live out a style of life where the workplace is brought into the hotel.

Rising serenely out and above the city’s busiest area, the five-star Grand Hyatt Tokyo is one of the foundational features of Roppongi Hills, represented by other famous facilities such as Mori Art Gallery and TOHO Cinemas. Hidden away in the elegant gardens of Roppongi, the hotel caters for locals on weekend escapes and celebrities seeking a little quiet and privacy. It stands as a beacon of information transmission as numerous celebrities and entrepreneurs have set up company offices within the Roppongi Hills Residence–in fact, the headquarters of Television Asahi is set up within the facility.

Exhibitions centered on modern art are held in cultural facilities such as Mori Art Gallery and Mori Art Center Gallery. These galleries market in such a manner to continually target the curiosity of consumers, such as total producers and modern artists the likes of Takashi Murakami. As a result, many people have visited Academy Hills out of curiosity.

While the Grand Hyatt Tokyo may emit an air of grandeur on the exterior, within one can find modern art and objects adorning every surface. The gallery specializes in contemporary art made by budding young Tokyo artists. Built by architect William Pedersen, this large-scale structure models after architecture found in New York. This is the very same architect who worked on the architectural design used for the central towers of Nagoya station. For visiting New Yorkers, this is sure to be a throwback to home!

There is welcome drink service in the club lounge when you arrive in the afternoon, including evening cocktails and canapés. The wood and beige-colored theme of the lobby evoke warmth to the interior design, bringing a calming sense of community to what’s otherwise a high-class and stylish facility. For breakfast and lunch, you can lounge at the Italian restaurant Fiorentina, where the Pastry Boutique is the king of kingly pastries. You can enjoy it together with a tea or coffee, delivered in a large mug.
