Zion National Park is Utah’s first national park. It is famous for its enormous sandstone cliffs that beautifully paint the landscapes in perfect contrast with the blue sky. Attracting avid wildlife observers, it is home to nearly 300 species of birds. It is also a favorite destination among backpackers and outdoor enthusiasts. Open all year round, it offers numerous biking and hiking trails as well as canyoneering and climbing opportunities. Horseback riding is also a prominent activity here, especially between March and October when guided trips are available. Of course, it would not be a national park if it is not ideal for thrilling camping activities. Check out the top campgrounds near Zion National Park, Utah.
